Its mouth is open showing backlit silver canine teeth with blinking lights behind the teeth, being his hardware. In The Storyteller, The Mimic is described as a tiger bust in the inside of the artificial Baobab tree set in the middle of the Pizzaplex's atrium that was later removed. The wires stretch towards the back of the skull, dive in and out of both eye sockets, snake through the mouth and extend down the articulated neck that in turn connects to a metallic spine, which connects to a slightly curved metal rib cage, which connects to two robot arms that end in pincerlike hands. Wires connect to a large processor that is welded to the back of the skull, which run tangled all around the endoskeleton's skull. Mimic's teeth are said to be novelty chattering teeth.
